Catherine Hoch, APNc

I was born and raised in New Hampshire. My introduction into medicine came in the form of veterinary medicine at age 16. I worked as a veterinary technician all through high school. In college at UNH, I worked for a major equine hospital running anesthesia for surgery. My life path of going to vet school took a different direction and I married a veterinarian instead. I was blessed to be able to be a stay at home mother for my 3 children for the first 10 years of their lives, the hardest, most rewarding job I have ever had. Once they were more self-sufficient, I returned to school and completed my nursing degree while they were in school. I worked as an emergency room nurse and continued my studies at Monmouth University to complete 2 Masters degrees simultaneously, one as a family nurse practitioner and a second Masters degree in forensics.
